The Sheet Metal Material Handler is responsible for loading and maintaining raw material for Machine Operators.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

:

• Coordinates with CNC machine operators (Turret or Laser ) or lead regarding production schedule for each day to ensure that the proper material and the correct quantities are available.
• Responsible for monitoring inventory levels of raw materials and informing management when levels are low
• Ensures storage areas for raw materials is kept neat and orderly at all times.
• Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.

Inspecting finished parts to ensure specifications have been met Detecting and reporting defective materials to the supervisor. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

• One experience in a manufacturing environment.
• One year of forklift experience sit-down models.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.

• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Shift Hours:

10pm-6:30am Must be availble to work overtime/weekends
