Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and cranes, to facilitate the efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse. This role requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse supervisors and team members. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Perform order picking and packing tasks to prepare shipments for distribution. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate inventory management. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to build and organize product displays. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs. Experience Previous experience as a Forklift Operator in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred. Familiarity with order picking processes, shipping and receiving operations, and inventory management systems. Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and cranes. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while following instructions from supervisors.
