Loader — Sit-Down Propane Forklift / Clamp Operator (#3a12) On behalf of Next Deavor Carson, CA Job Details Full-time Up to $20.63 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Load securing rigging method Sit-down counterbalanced forklift operation Performing regular vehicle safety checks Stacking Forklifts with various attachments Equipment inspection Safety equipment Truck loading and unloading Material handling equipment operation GFSI Cargo securement protocols Full Job Description Become a Key Player as a Loader — Sit-Down Propane Forklift / Clamp Operator You will support inbound/outbound operations by safely and efficiently loading trailers and containers using sit-down propane forklift and clamp equipment. Your work directly reduces transit damage, improves cube utilization, and helps the operations team meet shipment schedules. Onsite, day shift (Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM) with possible overtime as volume requires. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Operate a sit-down propane forklift or clamp truck to load full pallets and floor-stacked freight Maximize trailer and container cube while protecting product from damage Secure and brace loads; verify count and door assignment before sealing Complete trailer safety and pest checks prior to loading Use the WMS for picking, staging, and load confirmation Perform daily pre-use equipment inspections and report defects Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role Verifiable sit-down propane forklift experience Prior container or trailer loading experience with cube optimization Understanding of load securement and damage prevention practices Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Must pass a written equipment assessment before being scheduled to start Must pass a hands-on forklift certification with the site trainer on your first day onsite Orange reflective safety vest and enclosed-toe shoes required for facility entry; badge access required Must comply with GFSI food-safety standards Here's What Else Might Help You Out Clamp attachment experience (required for some openings) Pay Range $20.63/hour Ready to Make Your Mark?
