Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products within the warehouse. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and safe handling of goods. Thursday to Monday, 10pm to 6:30am, Tuesday and Wednesday off Duties Operate stand-up forklifts Safely handle heavy materials and perform manual handling tasks in accordance with OSHA safety standards in production and warehouse environments Manage inventory by using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and performing regular stock counts Pick orders accurately using order picker equipment, ensuring correct items are selected for shipment or storage Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to warehouse safety protocols and heavy equipment operation standards Conduct routine equipment inspections, troubleshoot minor repairs, and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs of forklifts and other material handling equipment Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following warehouse distribution procedures and safety standards in production environments Experience Proven experience operating various types of warehouse equipment including stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory management, order picking, and warehouse distribution processes Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology for logistics purposes Knowledge of forklift safety protocols as outlined by OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Experience in manual handling of materials and heavy lifting techniques in a fast-paced setting Prior experience working under the supervision of a warehouse supervisor or within a team focused on warehouse management system compliance Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for inventory counts, load calculations, and measurements Join our team as a Stand Up Forklift Operator if you're passionate about maintaining high safety standards while ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
