Unloader — Clamp / Sit-Down Propane Forklift (#06be) On behalf of Next Deavor Rancho Dominguez, CA Job Details Full-time $20.00 - $20.50 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Logistics cargo handling Pest control evaluation Sit-down counterbalanced forklift operation Pre-trip inspection protocols Unloading Personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence Stacking Attention to detail Forklifts with various attachments Safety equipment Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Become a Key Player as an Unloader — Clamp / Sit-Down Propane Forklift You will keep product moving by safely unloading trailers and staging freight for receiving, supporting warehouse throughput and accuracy. You will work onsite on scheduled shifts (1st shift 6:30 AM-3:00 PM or 2nd shift 3:30 PM-12:00 AM with a $0.50/hr shift differential), with occasional overtime before/after shifts and infrequent Saturday coverage during peak volume. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Conduct trailer inspections including safety and pest checks prior to unloading Operate a clamp truck or sit-down propane forklift to unload full pallets and floor-stacked freight Move unloaded product to the correct staging area for receiving Report damaged, shifted, or contaminated freight immediately Assist with restacking and provide hand-unload support as needed Complete daily pre-use equipment inspections and report defects Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role Verifiable clamp truck experience and proficiency on sit-down propane forklifts Prior devanning or trailer unloading experience Willingness and ability to assist with manual restacking Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Must pass a written equipment assessment before start Must pass a hands-on forklift or clamp certification with the site trainer on your first day onsite Ability to comply with site requirements: orange reflective safety vest, enclosed-toe shoes, and badge/key fob access at all times Pay Range $20.00 - $20.50/hour Ready to Make Your Mark?
