Job Overview Monday- Friday 6:30am-3pm We are seeking a dedicated Clamp Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating clamp trucks and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and organize inventory within our distribution center. Your expertise will ensure efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in warehouse management, equipment operation, and materials handling, contributing to a productive and safe working environment. Duties Operate clamp trucks, reach trucks, forklifts (including Hi-Lo and lift trucks), pallet jacks, and manual handling equipment to move heavy materials efficiently. Load and unload shipments accurately while adhering to safety protocols such as OSHA standards. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology for logistics accuracy. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or coordinate repairs to ensure operational safety. Assist with order picking, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving processes to meet distribution deadlines. Maintain organized storage areas by stacking pallets securely and managing space effectively. Follow warehouse safety standards in production environments, including proper manual handling techniques and heavy lifting procedures. Support warehouse supervisor in inventory management tasks, including stock counts and discrepancy resolution. Utilize materials handling equipment such as pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and reach trucks to optimize workflow. Ensure compliance with all safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation. Experience Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklift (including clamp trucks), reach trucks, Hi-Lo, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools. Prior experience in warehouse management or supervision is highly desirable. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory control systems. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards in production environments. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including manual handling, heavy lifting, and materials handling best practices. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics accuracy. Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to inventory counts and measurements. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy lifting equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management tasks.
