Jibe Staffing is hiring experienced Sit-Down Clamp Forklift Operators in Fontana and San Bernardino, CA! If you're an experienced forklift operator who can confidently handle clamp equipment, RF scanners, outbound freight, and high-and-tight palletizing , we want to hear from you!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Safely operate a sit-down clamp forklift to load, move, and stage freight throughout the warehouse. Use an RF scanner to scan, identify, track, and locate freight accurately. Load outbound (OB) freight using clamp equipment. Properly palletize freight high and tight to ensure loads are stable, secure, and ready for shipment. Stage pallets and freight in designated warehouse locations. Occasionally offload inbound freight from trailers and other designated areas. Verify freight, pallet, and location information using RF scanning equipment. Inspect freight and pallets for damage, stability, or other issues and report discrepancies to supervision. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work off the forklift when needed , including assisting with general warehouse tasks such as moving, organizing, wrapping, staging, and preparing freight.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Qualified candidates should have: Previous sit-down clamp forklift experience - REQUIRED Experience safely handling freight with clamp attachments. Experience using an RF scanner in a warehouse environment preferred. Ability to properly palletize and stage freight high and tight . Ability to accurately scan and verify freight information. Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment . Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout the warehouse. Safely handle and work around freight and pallets.
