Job Description

Expert Staffing West is seeking Warehouse Clerks in Otay Mesa! Schedule will be Monday through Friday (high season would include Saturdays as overtime), from 4:00pm -12:30am and 5:00pm - 1:30am $18.75 Per hour
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION
.High School Graduate. Training and support to all policies including
SQF. EXPERIENCE
1 to 2 years' experience in Shipping & Receiving.
CONTACT RESPONSIBILITY INTERNAL
Managers, Supervisors, Office Staff, and Production Employees, EXTERNAL:
UPS Drivers, Fed-X Drivers, Common Carriers, and LTL Drivers. Shipping & Receiving equipment service contractors.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to lift 60lbs. Walk, bend and climb. Operate Shipping & Receiving equipment: Electric Forklifts and pallet jacks. Flexible work schedule required and including weekends if needed.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Able to work in a cold environment ( 0° to 40°). Slippery floors, and a fast pace noisy Shipping & Receiving dock area. .
DETAILED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Follow and adhere to written procedures and policies at Jensen Meat Co 2. Must adhere to GMP's. 3. Communicate with Drivers on a daily basis. 4. Responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the department. 5. Must pay attention to detail. 6. Shipping and Receiving desks and areas to be kept clean and organized at all times. 7. Monitor and assist in the organization of freezer and cooler. 8. Report any issues or concerns with equipment to Supervisor. 9. Work in a cold environment 40° to 0°. 10. Able to work in a fast-paced environment at times. Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested. Responsibility to report food safety and quality opportunities and cooperation to improve the effectiveness of the SQF program for continuous improvemen
