Warehouse Warrior. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials while operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Job Duties Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders and shipping documents. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, including stocking shelves and rotating inventory as needed. Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and annual physical inventories. Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems or inventory software. Ensure warehouse areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Inspect forklifts and warehouse equipment daily and report maintenance or repair needs. Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation. Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations. Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred. Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Forklift Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
