Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and clamp trucks, to efficiently load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse. Your expertise in warehouse operations will ensure smooth inventory management, accurate order picking, and safe handling of materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced distribution environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. Duties Operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and barcode scanning equipment to load and unload shipments Safely handle materials using manual handling techniques and adhere to OSHA and warehouse safety standards Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for repairs needed Assist with inventory management by conducting cycle counts and updating warehouse management systems accurately Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and attention to detail Load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining safety protocols in warehouse distribution areas Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipment contents against documentation and ensuring proper storage Qualifications Proven experience operating forklift equipment such as lift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo's, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, or similar material handling machinery Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics purposes Familiarity with warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely over extended periods Basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Join us as a Forklift Driver and become an essential part of our efficient warehouse team!
