Position Summary Top Talent Staffing is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Material Handler / Stand-Up & Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support warehouse and manufacturing operations in Sanford, FL. This position is responsible for operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts, moving raw materials and finished goods, supplying production lines, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Load, unload, transport, stage, and store materials throughout the warehouse and production facility. Deliver raw materials and components to production lines to support continuous manufacturing operations. Verify quantities, product identification, labeling, and packaging before transporting materials. Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cycle counting. Complete inventory transactions and warehouse documentation accurately. Maintain organized inventory locations and proper material storage practices. Inspect forklifts daily and report any equipment issues or safety concerns. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with production, warehouse, and management teams. Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience as a Material Handler, Forklift Operator, Warehouse Associate, Shipping & Receiving Clerk, or similar position preferred. Stand-up forklift experience is required. Experience operating sit-down forklifts is preferred. Forklift certification is preferred or the ability to become certified. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, are preferred. Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, inventory records, and warehouse paperwork. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb throughout the workday. Frequently enter and exit forklifts and warehouse equipment. Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to work around moving machinery, forklifts, and warehouse traffic. Comfortable working in varying warehouse and manufacturing temperatures. Work Environment Manufacturing and warehouse facility. Exposure to forklifts, machinery, production equipment, noise, dust, and warehouse traffic. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other required safety equipment.
