Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse / Driver to join our dynamic logistics team of Wholesale HVAC Distribution. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations while ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will help streamline inventory control, materials handling, and shipping & receiving processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment, operate various warehouse management systems, and contribute to a fast-paced distribution environment. Responsibilities Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels using inventory management software and warehouse management systems like AS400 Conduct manual handling tasks such as stocking, packing, and order fulfillment while adhering to safety regulations and OSHA standards Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping or receiving using RF scanners and inventory management tools Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during warehouse activities Load and unload trucks with heavy equipment operation skills while maintaining safety protocol adherence Assist with shipping & receiving duties including verifying shipments, completing inbound/outbound logs, and managing order fulfillment processes Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by following safety procedures and proper materials handling techniques Experience Proven experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse operations with a focus on inventory management and materials handling Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, cranes, and pallet jacks; certification preferred Previous warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous but not required; leadership skills are a plus Familiarity with warehouse management software (e.g., AS400), inventory control systems, and RF scanners Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper use of PPE during all tasks Ability to perform basic math calculations related to inventory counts, weights, measurements, and order quantities Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes Demonstrated ability to operate technical equipment safely while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering excellence through efficient warehouse operations!
