Sit-down Forklift Operator:

Operate a sit-down forklift to safely move lumber, raw materials, and finished pallets Move lumber from the outdoor storage area to production as needed Keep production supplied with the materials needed to build pallets Safely maneuver around lumber stacks, pallet stacks, production equipment, and trailers Load and unload trailers using a forklift Load completed pallets onto trailers for shipment Organize and stage lumber and finished pallets in designated areas Safely stack and handle large or bulky materials Inspect loads and materials for damage or safety concerns Complete daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues Work closely with production and shipping teams to keep materials and finished products moving Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Skills and Experience What You'll Bring as a

Preferred Candidate:

2+ years of sit-down forklift experience Experience working in a lumber yard, building materials yard, pallet manufacturing facility, shipping/receiving department, or similar outdoor industrial environment This is a fully outdoor role with shaded tents and fans — ability to work in high heat and humidity is a must. Ability to safely handle materials and maintain awareness of surroundings Experience in a fast-paced assembly/manufacturing environment Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail to prevent product damage or safety issues Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks during a shift ¡Hablamos Español!
