Must have proven ability to identify lumber units. Required to be on/off the lift repetitively for the entire shift. Work cooperatively with management and co-workers to achieve all safety, quality and production goals set for work environment. Must demonstrate ownership in work performed, fallen sticks and lumber picked up immediately, not driven over. Must demonstrate ownership in forklift and lumber yard cleanliness and organization as well as TPM. Must be adaptive to change and enjoy a fast paced environment. Must be willing to work all shifts according to mill work schedule Will be required to work overtime as assigned. Required Skills Basic written and oral communication skills. Must possess ability to learn and retain basic technical knowledge regarding the forklift, kiln downloading, kiln building, lumber inventory, and help out at the planer and sawmill forklift positions. Basic mathematic ability. Ability to manage time well. Required Experience Must be willing to effectively participate in cross-training. No Experience Required. Employer is willing to train.
