Lakeland, FL Job Details Full-time $16 - $18 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Safety protocol adherence Moving Forklift Attention to detail Warehouse cleanliness Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Unified Logistic Services is expanding into Lakeland, Florida, and we are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join our warehouse operations team. We are a Final Mile LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) logistics operation, handling freight moving through our facility for final-mile delivery throughout Central Florida. Available Shifts Day Shift Afternoon Shift Facility operates Sunday through Friday 40 hours per week Overtime available/required when operationally needed Responsibilities Load and unload tractor-trailers and box trucks Safely operate forklifts while handling LTL freight Stage and organize freight by routes and delivery areas Move pallets and freight throughout the warehouse Assist with inbound and outbound freight operations Verify freight is placed in the correct staging/loading areas Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse Assist with general warehouse duties as needed Work closely with dispatch, drivers, and warehouse management Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. Requirements Previous forklift operating experience required Logistics, LTL, freight, trucking, or transportation experience is a must Experience loading and unloading trailers preferred Must understand the importance of properly handling and organizing freight Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Dependable and punctual Strong attention to detail and safety Ability to work as part of a team Must be available for scheduled Sunday operations What We're Looking For We are looking for experienced operators who understand that an LTL warehouse is about more than just moving pallets. Freight needs to be unloaded, staged, organized, protected, and loaded correctly so our drivers can efficiently complete their routes. We want team members who take ownership of their work, keep their areas organized, and understand the importance of keeping freight moving.
