Job Description

Overview A forklift operator plays a critical role in warehouse and industrial environments, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials using a forklift. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities Operate Forklifts:
Safely operate forklifts to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise.
Inventory Management:
Assist in receiving and checking incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
Material Handling:
Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility.
Load and Unload:
Efficiently load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct routine checks on forklift equipment, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
Record Keeping:
Maintain logs and records of inventory and completed tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications Certification:
Valid forklift operator certification is required.
Experience:
Previous experience as a forklift operator is preferred. Attention to

Ability to accurately follow instructions and maintain focus.
Physical Fitness:
Capable of lifting heavy objects and working on feet for extended periods.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal communication to coordinate with team members.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
Working Conditions Schedule:
Full-time, with potential for overtime or shift work.
Safety Gear:
Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as helmets and gloves.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
