Equipment Operator/Forklift Driver

We are driven by a desire to elevate the recreational boating experience. We are looking for an experienced marina forklift operator for our Marco Island, Florida marina. Prior Marina experience is

REQUIRED.

The Equipment/Forklift Operator is responsible for the movement of all vessels located in the facility for haul & launch, designated work, storage, or sales. This position is also required to inspect, repair, and maintain all assigned equipment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to marine forklifts Operate machinery efficiently, effectively and demonstrate safe handling of vessels Use equipment to move vessels in and out of the water, to designated workspace, storage or sales areas Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment to ensure operational and acceptable industry standards Assist with ground maintenance and ensure overall marina cleanliness are maintained as a Class A facility.

• Maneuver member vessels in a safe and timely manner from barn storage to water/work racks and retrieve vessels from water/work racks, and place them back into storage Qualification s:
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to prioritize and take initiative
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work weekends
