Job Title:
Forklift Operator Job Description The Forklift Operator safely handles, moves, and organizes freight within a clean, modern facility, ensuring accurate loading, unloading, and documentation of shipments while maintaining a safe and orderly dock environment. Responsibilities Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers using a forklift and other material handling equipment. Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort freight according to size, type, and destination. Read, decode, and decipher freight codes to expedite freight movement and support the tracing process. Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests to ensure accurate shipment records. Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight to support proper documentation and routing. Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports and follow established procedures. Essential Skills Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, distribution, or freight environment. Strong material handling skills, including loading, unloading, and sorting freight. Additional Skills & Qualifications Background as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics setting. Experience as an Equipment Operator handling freight or inventory. Why Work Here? 1A Sun- Tues (every other Wed) 5:00 am-5:00 pm ($23/hr) 1B Thurs
- Sat (every other Wed) 5:00 am-5:00 pm ($23/hr)
Night Shifts:
2A Sun- Tues (every other Wed) 5:00 pm-5:30 am ($25.50/hr) 2B Thurs
