Warehouse Technician / Forklift Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift operator to join our dynamic team in a fast paced warehouse environment. The Ideal will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of operations, supporting shipping and receiving processes, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and safely. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products within the warehouse Perform heavy lifting as required, up to 50 lbs and ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety. Palletize, band, and wrap out going shipments. Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are Qcd correctly and efficiently Collaborate with supervisor to optimize workflow and address any operational issues. Crate and un-crate granite for production Load and un-load trucks Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all time Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs or sfety concerns all other duties asked Requirements Experience as a forklift Operator in a warehouse or distribution center is a must. Ability to work in fast pace environment while multi-tasking Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) consistently throughout the shift Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Must be able to bend and kneel repeatedly. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is beneficial Must possess valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain certification
