Responsibilities Safely operate forklift equipment such as reach trucks, lift trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and manual pallet jacks to load and unload shipments. Manage inventory through accurate barcode scanning and warehouse management systems to ensure precise order picking and stock control. Assist with order picking activities using various equipment and manual handling techniques to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal operation of all material handling machinery. Follow warehouse safety protocols including OSHA standards and forklift safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation, and organizing products for distribution. Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts (including lift trucks and Hi-Lo), clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required for effective communication within diverse teams. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management practices, barcode scanning technology, and materials handling procedures. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, forklift safety protocols, heavy lifting techniques, manual handling standards, and safety standards in production environments. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse supervision is preferred but not mandatory.
