REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Previous railcar/slip operator experience is required. Previous experience operating slip equipment for railcars is required. Experience with railcar loading and unloading procedures is required. 1+ year of stand-up forklift or reach truck experience is required. Must be able to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dock loaders, and related equipment. Shift & Schedule 1st
Shift:
7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Overtime may be required. Employees may be required to work weekends and holidays . Employees must be available for rotating Saturdays during peak season . All employees are expected to work until the job is completed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Railcar & Material Handling Operate slip equipment for railcars safely and efficiently. Load and unload railcars according to established procedures. Load and unload trucks. Operate stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and dock loaders. Move products onto pallets and position them correctly. Load and unload products on and off pallets. Scan products and move them to the appropriate loading or staging area. Verify product accuracy and placement. Direct products to designated warehouse areas. Product Handling & Inventory Label, sort, stack, wrap, and tie products as required. Secure products with stretch wrap and apply the correct labels. Record materials, weights, counts, and product condition using the RF system. Conduct inventory as needed. Ensure products are properly staged and organized. Equipment & Safety Complete daily stand-up forklift maintenance and pre-shift inspection sheets. Follow all company safety procedures and operating protocols. Maintain strong attention to safety and detail. Keep work areas clean, safe, and orderly. Sweep and clean work areas as needed. Clean up spills caused by cold-storage or thawing processes. Wear company-provided or approved cold-weather PPE at all times during warehouse operations. Attendance Policy —

Report to work on time and ready to work. Complete scheduled shifts. Follow the required call-out procedure if unable to report to work. Maintain reliable attendance throughout the probationary period. Work Expectations Be available for assigned shift hours. Arrive on time and ready to work every scheduled day. Follow all company and safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic. Follow written and verbal instructions. Work effectively as part of a team. Complete assigned duties until the daily workload is finished. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding warehouse position.
Employees must be able to:
Lift and handle 22-60 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift. Stack cases weighing up to 60 lbs. Stand and/or walk for 8+ hours per shift . Bend, twist, stoop, and reach repeatedly. Reach above shoulder height and below waist level. Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing approximately 10-50 lbs. Occasionally climb, squat, kneel, and bend. Perform job duties in 32°F or colder environments . Continue performing job duties until the daily workload is completed. Required Qualifications Must Have Previous railcar/slip operator experience —
REQUIRED.
Experience operating slip equipment for railcars. Knowledge of railcar loading and unloading procedures. 1+ year of stand-up forklift or reach truck experience. Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment. Ability to lift and handle required weights. Strong communication skills. Ability to read and speak English. Proficient English and basic math skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong teamwork skills. Ability and willingness to work in extreme cold. Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen . Preferred High School Diploma or GED. Work Environment Regular exposure to extreme cold . Employees may work in environments at or below 32°F . Frequent exposure to moving machinery. Moderate workplace noise levels. Appropriate PPE must be worn as required.
