Piedmont Springs is a fast growing regional bottled water company. We are privately owned with 26 years of historical strength. We are a close knit team running a fast production line and are looking to add a forklift operator who will run our shipping and receiving. The associate will follow company safety, food safety, personnel, quality and operational policies. Qualifications High school or equivalent (preferred) Forklift Experience of at least one year Basic Math Abilities Excellent organizational and time management skills Great communication and problem solving skills Duties Loading and Unloading of trucks and placement into racks, including drive in racking system Handle all necessary paperwork for outgoing and incoming shipments Inspect incoming and outgoing for damages and exact quantities Assist drivers and suppliers Hand load, wrap or stack product as necessary Secure freight as needed Strong organizational skills in regards to product placement in facility What you need to succeed: Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job Ability to read, write and speak English Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required Effective leadership skills and problem-solving skills Ability to work with all functional team members Ability to maintain quality standards Ability to work independently Ability to communicate effectively The ability to lift 50 pounds as needed
