Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sit-down Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns; perform basic repairs or report issues promptly. Manage inventory by accurately picking orders using barcode scanning systems and warehouse management systems (WMS). Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and manual handling. Organize warehouse storage areas by stacking pallets and materials securely on racks or on the floor. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipment contents against documentation and ensuring proper placement of goods. Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and warehouse safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Qualifications Proven experience operating sit-down forklifts. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials manually when necessary. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards in production environments and warehouse operations. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking, load & unload processes, and warehouse distribution workflows. Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements; excellent attention to detail. Valid forklift certification Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow safety standards diligently. Pay:
$17.50 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
