What You'll Do As a Yard Worker, you will help maintain the flow of materials throughout our yard while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

Assist customers with locating, retrieving, and loading building materials. Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move products throughout the yard. Verify materials against invoices and customer orders to ensure accuracy. Organize and stock inventory to maintain a safe, efficient, and customer-ready environment. Perform routine yard maintenance and housekeeping to keep the facility clean and organized. Follow all company safety standards and actively contribute to a culture of safety. Participate in ongoing safety meetings and training programs. Support team members with additional responsibilities as needed. Six months of related experience in lumber, building materials, warehouse, yard operations, or a similar environment preferred. OSHA Forklift Certification required or ability to obtain certification as required by the location. Ability to read and understand invoices, work orders, and other documents. Physical Requirements Work is performed primarily outdoors and may involve exposure to changing weather conditions, equipment noise, and dust. Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Ability to climb into and out of forklift equipment and operate controls safely.
