$18.00/hr Position Summary The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store products throughout the warehouse or manufacturing facility. This position ensures materials are handled efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Essential Responsibilities Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, transport, and stage materials. Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders. Supply materials to production and shipping departments as needed. Load outbound shipments accurately and securely. Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain accurate inventory by following inventory control procedures and documenting material movements. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as required. Keep warehouse aisles and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and standard operating procedures. Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous forklift operating experience required. Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire. Basic math and computer skills. Ability to read and understand shipping documents, labels, and work orders. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist throughout the workday. Sit and operate a forklift for extended periods. Ability to work in varying warehouse or manufacturing environments, including exposure to temperature changes. Preferred Skills Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures. Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
