Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Material Handlers for our Bloomingdale client.

Shift:

2nd Shift - 4:30pm-1:30am, Monday - Friday, overtime as needed

Pay:

$20.00 per hour

Job Details:

Ability to operate a forklift (Stand-up, and sit down), pallet jack, plastic bander and shrink wrap machine Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved Opens containers, loads, and unloads approved materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers Loads truck for Industrial Truck Operator Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together Clamps sections of portable conveyor together or places conveyor sections on blocks or boxes to facilitate movement of materials or products Cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators Uses power hoist and/or operates gas or electric powered forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and products, adhering to the highest standards of safety May assist in receiving incoming products as required

Job Requirements:

Ability to operate a forklift (Stand-up, and sit down), pallet jack, plastic bander and shrink wrap machine Previous materials handling experience preferred Strong numeracy and analytical skills Good problem-solving and time management skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles Pull/Push and carry up to 50lbs frequently Ability to stand / walk for hours at a time Forklift certification is required in the sit down and must have 2 years experience on the standup or a standup certification Apply here or visit us at: Work Now Staffing 254 W Fullerton Ave Addison, IL 60101 630-592-8333 Employees may enroll in an optional medical and supplemental benefits program through our insurance provider.
