Job Description
Responsibilities:
Material Management:
Ensure all incoming material is properly marked and stored. Stock materials, including customer material, linear material, and sheet/plate material. Maintain organized and properly labeled pallets, tubs, and racks, both inside and outside.Racks and Storage Management:
Oversee WIP racks, material racks, and job hardware racks. Manage the concrete staging pad and Kory pad for optimal organization. Maintain pallet inventory and ensure proper stock levels. Prevent miscellaneous items from being placed in designated racks.Job Staging and Support:
Stage jobs for Managers or shop floor personnel. Assist shop floor personnel with job setup and teardown. Provide additional support to shop floor personnel (e.g., forming, laser helper). Assist with moving materials as needed by the shop floor team. Fill in as a truck driver or small parts runner when required.Loading and Unloading:
Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks. Help secure loads for Heartland deliveries. Package parts properly for shipping.Maintenance and Waste Disposal:
Report any maintenance needs on fork trucks to Managers. Empty dumpsters and remove laser skeletons as needed.
