Reach Truck Operator - DAY SHIFT Seeking a dependable, motivated individual to work in the warehouse on the day shift. MUST have

REACH TRUCK EXPERIENCE.

Under general supervision, the Reach Truck Operator will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to, stand up forklifts, stand up dock loaders, walk, pallet jacks, and radio frequency equipment. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Promote safe work environment through personal actions. Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment safely and efficiently. Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage. Take inventory as needed. Direct product to correct area in warehouse. Clear work area of loose wood and plastic. Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum 1 Year work experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment. Minimum 1 Year Reach Truck experience. Ability to become reach truck and forklift certified. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and RF Scanners. Shift starts at 7:00 a.m. and continues until work is finished for the day. There is no "end time", but typically finish between 3:30 and 5:00 p.m, later during busy seasons.

Preferred Skills:

Strong teamwork skills. Ability to read numbers and labels. Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines. Previous overnight experience recommended Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly. Must be at least 18 years old. Reliable transportation High School diploma or equivalent Only qualified candidates with related experience will be considered.
