Job Description

Since 1994, Industrial & Custom Powder Coating (ICPC) has served a wide customer base throughout Central Illinois, building a reputation of consistent quality and customer service that exceeds expectations. Currently, we are looking to hire an experienced fork lift operator, with responsibilities spanning all aspects of shipping/receiving, as well as support of the production team. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
  • A record of safely operating a fork lift, or other heavy machinery.
  • High organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision once trained.
  • Can successfully collaborate with others in order to maintain work flow.
Training will be conducted on the job. Once fully trained, this employee will have full responsibility for the organization of our warehouse, ensuring that all outgoing product is properly prepared for shipment, and working with transport companies to set up shipping. In addition, this position works closely with the production manager to keep the production line supplied with raw parts to be powder coated. This is a full-time position, working 40 hrs per week. In the hopes of giving employees more work-life balance, ICPC's work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:30a until 5:15p, with a 45 minute lunch break, allowing for three consecutive days off each week. Candidates must be capable of light manual labor, and able to work in an environment with a wide range of temperatures, including 90+ degrees. The minimum starting pay for this position is $20/hour, with the possibility for more depending on how the candidate is evaluated, and relevant experience.
