S_180838 Spherion is currently seeking skilled Forklift Operators for a premier client in Decatur, IL. This position is located in a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of inventory to meet strict production and shipping deadlines. We are looking for a dedicated professional who thrives on 3rd shift and brings a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to pull, stage, and load orders.
• Manage inventory by moving products to various locations within the warehouse.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movement and ensure order accuracy.
• Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure safety and operational standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to optimize workflow and safety.

• Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or RF scan guns.
• Current or prior Forklift Operator Certification.
• Experience in cross-docking or high-bay racking environments.
• Proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuality in previous roles. ...

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
