Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized material handler to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory levels. This position requires proficiency in warehouse management systems and a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes. You will be manually loading/unloading product at times as well. 2nd shift: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10:30pm Must be able to work overtime when needed as well as on Saturdays. Duties Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all packages are accurately labeled and documented. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently. Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment. Communicate with shipping partners via email for package drop off/pick up coordination Knowledge on utilizing sit down forklift to move product and a walkie riders Requirements Proven experience in shipping and receiving roles within a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred. Familiarity with order fulfillment processes Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as sit down forklift Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively shipping partners Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds as required by the job duties. Computer skills for clerical processes
