The Forklift Operator will perform warehousing duties to ensure food quality, food safety, and personnel safety are achieved. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Adhere to GMP's and Food Safety Policies, Occupational Safety Policies maintain a safe work environment. Operate forklift to stage, store, load, and unload materials required for Production. Report Food Safety, Quality and Occupational Safety concerns area leads and to shift lead. Maintain the warehouse and freezer in a clean and free of obstacles condition. Closely understand and adhere to all Shipping & Receiving procedures including, but not limited to, allergen separation, product identification, and cleaning and sanitation. Assist Warehouse Manager with physical inventory counts Break down pallets as necessary. Perform sanitation duties as needed. Perform Master Cleaning Schedule duties as needed Make process improvement suggestions. Properly dispose of waste material and used packaging supplies. Record quality data such as weights, lot numbers, temperature checks, etc. and directed by the Warehouse Manager or Quality Department Assist other employees as needed to complete tasks. Skills Required Team-oriented personality. Detail oriented and attentive. Proficient in mathematics. Ability to work in fast paced environment. Well developed sense of personal initiative. Ability to work with little or no supervision.
