Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cherry Picker Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating cherry pickers and other material handling equipment to efficiently pick, load, and unload products within a fast-paced distribution environment. Duties Safely operate Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, Forklifts, Clamp Trucks, Pallet Jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to retrieve and transport inventory Pick orders accurately using barcode scanning systems and warehouse management software Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety standards in production and warehouse safety protocols Conduct routine inspections of equipment for maintenance needs or repairs, ensuring optimal performance Assist with inventory management by conducting cycle counts, reconciling stock levels, and updating warehouse management systems Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing goods for dispatch or receipt, including manual handling of materials when necessary Follow OSHA guidelines and warehouse safety standards to prevent accidents during heavy lifting or materials handling tasks Requirements Proven experience operating cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, or similar material handling equipment in a warehouse environment Knowledge of warehouse operations including order picking, load & unload procedures, shipping & receiving processes Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics purposes Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks Strong understanding of forklift safety protocols and OSHA regulations governing heavy equipment operation Warehouse experience with a focus on materials handling, inventory control, and distribution processes Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment _____________________________________________________________________________________________ 2
