In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring safe operation of various heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks. Your expertise will help maintain smooth warehouse distribution processes, support order picking and shipping & receiving activities, and uphold safety standards across all operations. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse Conduct order picking using RF scanners and pick systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper stacking and storage of goods on pallets or racks Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other machinery Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards by following proper procedures for heavy equipment operation and materials handling Support warehouse management system updates to track inventory movement and ensure accurate record keeping Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments is highly preferred Proven experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cranes or other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling Experience in shipping & receiving, load & unload procedures, and construction or industrial environments is advantageous Join our team to be part of an energetic environment where your skills in heavy equipment operation, materials handling, and warehouse management will make a real impact.
