Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued Strong organizational skills for managing a varied caseload Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt and be resourceful in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across Pre-K to 12th grade Develop and implement individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to diverse student needs Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing input and progress updates Document student progress and maintain accurate records Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and other support staff regarding students speech and language development Stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology Enjoy a rewarding opportunity to foster communication skills in students and be an essential part of their educational journeys.
