AM Job Description:

Stand up Forklift Operator

• Experience is required for this position as no training is provided
• The Forklift Operator is responsible for the daily execution and handling of customer orders and shipments, unloading inbound shipments safely and moving product to storage locations.

This job is responsible for ensuring that product is stacked efficiently and placed in the appropriate area. This job requires high attention to detail with ability to follow SOPs. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for counting, picking, receiving, and completing paperwork for order fulfillment and inventory put away. This job will be utilizing various forms of equipment to fulfill warehousing activities.

Job Duties:

Follows warehouse operational procedures including sorting, loading/unloading activities, shipment processing and documentation, manifesting, packaging, and sending shipment status information Pulls and packs products based on daily orders Operates a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise Responsible for maintaining safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be asked to perform related duties When putting away inventory, ensures product is counted, stored, and compared against inbounding paperwork, inspects inbound shipments for damage, infestation, and production dates Reports shortages, overages, damage, and mis-shipments to on-site contact Reviews outbound orders for accuracy as requested Compares the quantity, quality, labeling, and consignee address to the customer order to ensure all outgoing shipments are complete and correct Safely and efficiently operates machinery and equipment as required and assist in the unloading or loading of product moving into or out of warehouse Completes cycle counts and inventory audit activities as requested Maintains clean, neat, and orderly work areas and operates in a manner that promotes safety. Completes other duties as requested
