Wright Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a reliable Forklift/Finish Operator for our second shift at our Maryland manufacturing facility. In this hands-on role, you will safely operate forklifts to move materials, load and unload components, and support production of our commercial lawn mowers. You'll also perform finish operations such as basic assembly, deburring, cleaning, and packaging to meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has prior forklift or warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate forklifts to move raw materials, components, and finished goods safely Load and unload trucks and production areas according to schedules Perform finish operations including basic assembly, deburring, cleaning, and packaging Inspect materials and finished parts for quality and report defects Follow all plant safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines Maintain a clean, organized work area and support 5 S practices Complete basic production and inventory documentation accurately Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to meet daily production targets Required Skills Forklift operation Warehouse material handling Basic mechanical assembly Quality inspection Safety and OSHA compliance Palletizing and packaging Inventory and documentation basics Use of hand and power tools Reading work orders and labels Basic equipment troubleshooting
