Duties Safely operate forklifts such as Hi-Lo lifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments. Manage warehouse inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring accurate order picking and stock organization. Assist with order fulfillment by selecting products accurately as an picker, preparing items for shipment. Report mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Support warehouse distribution activities by handling materials with care, performing heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain safety compliance by adhering to OSHA regulations and best practices for heavy equipment operation. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and improve overall warehouse efficiency. Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts (Hi-Lo) and pallet jacks in a warehouse setting. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling is highly desirable. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements. Previous roles involving warehouse supervision or leadership experience are advantageous but not required.
