This role is essential in ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of lumber and building materials within our warehouse environment. The successful candidate will operate various types of material handling equipment, forklifts, to facilitate smooth warehouse operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized supply chain while maintaining high safety standards and operational excellence. Responsibilities Associates will be working in the yard operating a sit down forklift to move materials, will be staying onsite. General Labor, working outside, general clean up duties. General labor for lumber company. Associates will be able to work outside, and perform heavy lifting. Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse material handling equipment including forklift, reach truck, cherry picker, clamp truck, and pallet jack. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order picking accuracy. Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred. Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Being able to work in the elements.
