Job Summary:
The Forklift Operator contributes to the effective and efficient operation of the warehouse through accurate inventory and rotation duties, maintaining good housekeeping standards, repack and restock loose/broken merchandise, and safe operation of powered equipment. Driving a forklift to load, unload and move pallets of products in the warehouse and dock area.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

in everything we do. Driving a forklift to move pallets of products. Receiving trucks bearing new merchandise and unloading the new inventory. Receiving inbound freight and/or transferring outbound freight using handheld. Ensuring proper rotation and correct PQI tagging of warehouse merchandise. Restocking the warehouse floor from new freight and overflow areas. Repackaging and restocking broken or loose merchandise. Properly sorting, stacking, wrapping, and loading dunnage. Immediately reporting equipment damage or repairs needed. Following all safety practices as instructed. Maintain clean work areas, sweeping floors, organizing stock.
Physical Demands:
Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently. Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis. Frequently entering and exiting the forklift. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
Work Environment:
Exposed to cold and hot conditions. Work in warehouse and dock area with little temperature controls.
