Job Description

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Forklift & Building Materials Operator to safely move and stage lumber and building products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload trucks, supply production lines, and organize inventory while following strict safety, quality, and environmental standards. The role requires attention to detail, reliable teamwork, and adherence to established procedures. You'll contribute to sustainable wood products manufacturing with opportunities for skill growth in a safety-focused culture. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and related equipment to move, load, and unload lumber and building materials. Stage and organize materials to support production lines and shipping schedules. Inspect forklifts and material handling equipment and report maintenance needs. Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental procedures in a mill/warehouse setting. Verify material counts, labels, and quality against work orders or shipping documents. Assist with inventory organization and yard/warehouse housekeeping. Communicate with supervisors, loaders, and production teams to coordinate material flow. Support continuous improvement and safe work practices aligned with Weyerhaeuser's values.
