Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Driver and Warehouse Worker, where your energy and expertise will keep our distribution operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will operate various types of material handling equipment, including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks, to load, unload, and organize inventory. Your attention to safety standards and proficiency in warehouse management will ensure a safe, productive environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations while contributing to the seamless flow of goods across our distribution network. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of equipment such as reach trucks, lift trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning tools for accurate tracking and order picking Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and materials handling to organize stock within the warehouse Assist with order picking processes to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately Conduct routine equipment repairs or notify maintenance teams for mechanical issues to ensure optimal operation Follow OSHA safety protocols and warehouse safety standards in all activities to prevent accidents and injuries Support shipping & receiving functions by verifying inbound/outbound shipments and maintaining proper documentation Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts (including lift truck and picker), pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo forklifts Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics purposes Familiarity with inventory management practices and materials handling procedures Mechanical aptitude with basic repair skills for equipment maintenance Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards in production environments Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely and efficiently Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy Previous experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse supervision is a plus but not required Join us in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a real impact!
