Join our team at a local manufacturing facility in Statesville, NC, where we are seeking experienced Forklift Drivers to fill immediate openings on 1st shift!

Qualifications:

MUST have at least 5 years of recent, consistent forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Stable employment history is required. Candidates should demonstrate reasonable tenure with previous employers and a pattern of reliability and commitment. MUST have experience operating a sit-down forklift safely in a busy warehouse environment. Candidates should have experience in at least 2 of the following areas:

• Shipping and loading outbound trucks
• Receiving and unloading inbound materials
• Staging orders or materials
• Feeding production lines
• Inventory control or cycle counting Must be comfortable working around pedestrians and other equipment and handling different pallet sizes.

Must be able to complete required paperwork and/or system transactions accurately. Forklift certification alone is NOT sufficient. Candidates must have significant hands-on forklift experience. Must be safety-conscious and able to follow forklift and pedestrian safety rules. Must be dependable, punctual, honest, and accountable. Must be able to work independently without constant direction. Must be a quick learner and able to retain and apply instructions. Must be able to prioritize work and communicate when there is a problem. Must be willing to assist in different warehouse areas based on operational needs.

Experience:

At least 5 years of recent, consistent forklift experience is required. Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is required. Experience with shipping, receiving, staging, production support, and/or inventory control is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork/system transactions accurately. Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift in a busy warehouse environment. Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively around pedestrians and other equipment.

6:00am-2:30pm, Monday

• Friday Compensation:

  Starting at $19.50/hour
• Pay may be higher depending on experience.
