POSITION SUMMARY

The Sucker Rod Yard Tech will be responsible for assisting the Sucker Rod Operations manager. This person will be responsible for unloading, loading, and handling sucker rods and couplings. This employee will prepare sucker rod orders for customers with the correct number of specific items for the job. While orders are not being prepared, this person will maintain the yard and keep track of inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow company processes and ensure competencies are implemented. Follow strict sucker rod care and handling practices and procedures. Assist forklift operator for loading and unloading materials. Operate forklift or for loading and unloading materials. Build sucker rod orders as the orders are placed by the customer. Maintain yard cleanliness. Increase product knowledge (both externally and internally) through collaboration with Sucker Rod Operations Manager and Sucker Rod Development Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Sucker Rod experience preferred, but not required. Oilfield experience preferred, but not required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Safety oriented. Written and verbal communication skills.
