Job description: Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented and self-motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and overall warehouse distribution. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA standards while operating various equipment. Duties Perform inventory management tasks including tracking stock levels and conducting regular audits. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials. Execute order fulfillment processes including picking, packing, and shipping products accurately. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for efficient inventory control. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Assist with stocking shelves and managing materials handling to ensure timely availability of products. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline operations and improve workflow. Follow all safety protocols while performing mechanical tasks or operating heavy machinery. Sort, Pack and transport equipment in a warehouse setting and on construction site(s) Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with knowledge of warehouse management systems (AS400 is a plus). Familiarity with inventory control processes and order picking techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment safely. Experience in shipping & receiving processes as well as packaging requirements. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with materials handling. Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
