Performance Personnel is recruiting for a forklift operator. This assignment offers an attendance bonus as well as an excellent temp to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to move and stack materials
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of items
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
• Utilize pallet jacks and lift trucks to transport materials within the warehouse or production area
• Perform order picking and packing tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations

Skills:

• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift trucks
• Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate handling of materials
• Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or operating machinery
