Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, follows safety protocols, and has experience in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to load, unload, move, and stack products and materials. Inspect forklifts and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors per OSHA standards. Ensure materials and products are stored safely and securely to prevent damage or accidents. Pick and prepare orders according to company standards. Maintain accurate inventory by properly tagging and storing goods. Assist with general warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing, and material handling. Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines and procedures. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. Three to five years previous forklift experience. Prior experience with a Bendi and Cherry Picker a plus. Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in varying warehouse conditions (e.g., heat, cold, noise). Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment:

This position requires working in a warehouse environment with exposure to machinery noise and varying temperatures. Must be able to stand, sit, and operate machinery for extended periods.
