The Machine Tender is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, adjusting, and troubleshooting production equipment to support efficient manufacturing operations. This position plays an important role in ensuring production lines start on time, equipment operates reliably, and downtime is minimized. The Machine Tender will also assist with preventive maintenance, minor equipment repairs and adjustments, spare-parts management, and continuous improvement initiatives while following all GMP, GDP, quality, and safety requirements. Responsibilities Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment to support daily production schedules. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor adjustments to minimize downtime. Assist with preventive maintenance and help maintain necessary equipment spare parts. Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability. Support and train machine operators on proper equipment operation and basic troubleshooting. Follow all GMP, GDP, quality, and safety procedures while maintaining a clean and safe work area. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements 2-5 years of mechanical experience with filling, packaging, or similar production equipment. Cosmetics, personal care, or related manufacturing experience is a plus. Knowledge of GMP and GDP practices preferred. Ability to set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot production machinery. Ability to read and understand technical instructions and equipment procedures. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and work overtime as needed.
