Market Speed Logistics is looking for an experienced and dependable Forklift Operator to join our growing warehouse team in Cranbury, NJ. In this role, you'll operate a variety of powered industrial trucks (Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, and Electric Pallet Jack) to move, load, and replenish inventory—many of which are beauty products requiring careful attention to batch codes and expiration dates. You'll also play a key role in supporting multiple departments across the operation by ensuring they have the inventory and materials needed to get the job done.

This is a full-time role currently payrolled through a staffing agency, but you will report directly to the Market Speed Logistics team each day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate Reach Trucks, Cherry Pickers, Sit-Down Forklifts, and Electric Pallet Jacks to move products and materials throughout the warehouse. Accurately receive, stock, pick, stage, and transport inventory based on pick tickets and system instructions. Carefully check and handle products which are mainly health and beauty items, with attention to detail for batch codes and expiration dates. Load and unload trailers, and assist in staging outbound shipments for various carriers. Perform daily equipment inspections and operate machinery in compliance with all safety standards. Recognize and report product damage, shortages, or inventory discrepancies immediately to the management team. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with internal teams and departments to ensure they have access to the stock they need. Communicate clearly with leads and supervisors when issues arise or clarification is needed. Support other areas of the warehouse as needed, including replenishment, inventory counting, box building, and general warehouse labor.

REQUIRED SKILLS

At least 2 years of hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment including Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, and Electric Pallet Jack. Must have reliable transportation to our Cranbury, NJ facility. Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset, especially when handling products with expiration dates. Ability to read and follow written instructions, pick tickets, and labels in English. Solid organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment. Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and operate equipment for extended periods. Dependable attendance and a proactive approach to communication. Team player who is adaptable and ready to support various departments across the operation. Experience using RF scanners. Flexibility to work overtime, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on business needs. Positive, professional attitude and a strong work ethic.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Experience working with beauty or health-related products. Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse software. Previous experience in a 3PL (third-party logistics) environment.

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a full-time position. Shift available is 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Both shifts require flexibility for overtime as needed, including weekends or extended hours. The role is physically active and performed in a warehouse setting. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and follow all OSHA safety standards. This position is payrolled through a staffing agency but reports directly to Market Speed Logistics each day.
