Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, involving material handling, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating material handling equipment safely, adhering to warehouse protocols, and supporting overall warehouse operations to meet company goals. Duties Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse. Follow all forklift safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Assist with warehouse operations including organizing stock, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are upheld. Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment according to specified requirements. Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and documenting transactions. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and efficient warehouse flow. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment preferred. Knowledge of forklift safety protocols and best practices. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Basic understanding of warehouse operations such as order picking, shipping, and receiving processes. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team. High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications in forklift operation are a plus.
